2018 Third Quarter Discipleship Classes

CLC has something for the entire family from C-Luv Kids Classes to Destiny Generation to Adult Discipleship Classes!

Wednesdays: July 11 - August 22
7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

At Covenant Love Church we believe in the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19 to "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations." God has called us to make disciples; therefore one of the church's greatest responsibilities is to "grow" Christians into mature disciples of Christ. We believe to be faithful to the Great Commission we must be intentional in our discipleship training process. To this end, we put great emphasis on discipleship classes.

Discipleship classes have been established out of our desire to help every person grow in faith, mature in character, and operate in their giftings. There is a fit for you no matter where you may find yourself in your walk with God. Each quarter we offer a variety of classes on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m., so it's easy to jump in at any time and begin GROWING with us!

Facilitators: Ira Taylor

We are immersed in a society of many cultural beliefs and faith backgrounds. On a daily basis, we build relationships with people from differing cultures in our workplace, at the marketplace, or in our schools. How do we cross these cultural barriers and share Jesus with them? In this class, we will learn and understand ways to overcome cultural barriers to effectively share the truth of the Gospel and be equipped with tools to confidently convey the Message of the Kingdom of God through these relationships.

This class will help you build an indestructible foundation of Christian faith that will keep you grounded in the face of any trial or tribulation faced in the world today. You will be given all the Biblical and spiritual tools necessary to rise above the war between your spirit and your flesh. School of Ministry Class:

Apologetics: Removing the Roadblocks to Faith

Facilitator: Pastor David Mosher

The Bible is clear that all believers are called to defend their faith – therefore “apologetics” is for everyone. In a modern culture which denies absolute truth, apologetics doesn’t mean to “apologize” but rather helps today’s Christians better understand, prepare to explain, and proclaim their beliefs. But what if apologetics could be part of natural, normal conversation in everyday life? This class is aimed at preparing you to clearly and confidently discuss your faith in your everyday world. Filled with real-world examples and practical advice, this class will equip you with the tools you need to think biblically and speak persuasively—offering unbelievers “a reason for the hope that is in you.”
