Wednesdays: July 9 - August 27
7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
At Covenant Love Church we believe in the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19 to "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations." God has called us to make disciples; therefore one of the church's greatest responsibilities is to "grow" Christians into mature disciples of Christ. We believe to be faithful to the Great Commission we must be intentional in our discipleship training process. To this end, we put great emphasis on discipleship classes.
Covenant Love Classes have been established out of our desire to help every person grow in faith, mature in character, and operate in their giftings. There is a fit for you no matter where you may find yourself in your walk with God. Each quarter we offer a variety of classes on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m., so it's easy to jump in at any time and begin GROWING with us!
Facilitator: Ade Lewis
This class offers practical ways for developing nine attributes demonstrated by Ruth, Boaz and Naomi in the biblical book of Ruth, as they faced challenges and defining moments in their lives–such as loss and change. Through understanding the value of each attribute, and by learning to apply the practical steps of these skills and strategies, you will learn how to make life-impacting Godly decisions.
Facilitator: Arthur O'Neal
This class first looks at how God has given us His armor to face and withstand the dangers facing us as disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. We learn how to withstand self-dependence and how to cover our backs by dealing with unhealed wounds, past failures and false comparisons.
In the later weeks, we thoroughly examine what the Lordship of Christ means to a disciple. We learn how to remove the three major hindrances to Christ’s lordship, as we make Jesus Lord over our personal lives, finances, single years, family lives, and our daily work.
Facilitator: Nichole Williams

If God's Presence is inside of me, how does that impact my life? If Jesus is my model, can I also walk in miracles and power? If the Holy Spirit is always with me, how do I hear and respond to Him?
This is a book study where participants read chapters during the week, then come together in class to share and discuss how this study has transformed their lives and impacted their spiritual journey. Class discussion centers on what it looks like to host God's Presence in your everyday life. Prepare to encounter God like never before and transform the world around you by hosting His Presence!

Based on Mark Gungor's wildly popular seminar, this class builds on the same principles that tens of thousands of couples have credited with enriching, and even saving, their marriages. By using a unique blend of humor and tell-it-like-it-is honesty, this study helps couples get along and have fun doing it. You will learn that the proven key to marital bliss is not romance or destiny – It is work and skill.
Couples need to work hard at maintaining their relationship and to have the skills to pull it off. The longer spouses wait to learn these skills, the greater their chance of wanting to bail--yet this class makes it easy for couple

Utilizing John Bevere's best-selling book and curriculum, this course deals with quite possibly the most important confrontation with truth you'll ever encounter in your lifetime. It exposes Satan's deceptive snare – offense – used to get believers out of the will of God. Jesus said, "It is impossible that no offenses should come" (Luke 17:1). Your choice is not in whether or not you get offended, but in how you choose to respond. This class will empower you to stay free from offense, enabling you to have an unhindered relationship with God.
